On our fast an furious 2 day travel to Morocco, I fell IN LOVE with these real leather poufs. I went into ten different stores to find some that were the perfect mix of Moroccan character and contemporary(meaning no camel or palm tree prints on them). These are simple enough to fit in modern or rustic style homes (and in our home for sure!).
Poufs have become more popular in the last few years. Here are 3 reasons I think are perfect for any home:
1. They go in ANY room of your home
Poufs don’t just go in a living area. They can be perfect for a sun porch, your bedroom, or even a baby nursery.
2. Serve as extra seating.
Most of the time, our homes need only minimal seating for the family members. The hard part is balancing everyday life and your guest list for gatherings. These poufs can serve as extra floor seats when you have parties or small dinners.
3. Can be loved on by young and old.
Because the poufs are made of leather and are strongly sewed together, they can endure children’s play and adult tushes (hehe). Leather can endure a lot of messes and love, but we also know that leather only gets better with age. Same with these.
These cushions are made of quality genuine leather and are mostly stitched by hand (all except the zipper on the bottom). Since these Moroccan poufs are NOT mass produced in a factory, but made by hand in a small workshop. Because of this, the shape, color, or size and can, therefore, contain slight imperfections and variations. This not only makes your pouf unique but confirms its true Moroccan authenticity.
*Please note that the pouf is supplied unstuffed. There is a zip on the underside of the pouf to allow for filling. You can stuff your unwanted items, old pillows, cotton, or even with good old newspaper.
